Coffee Table

We have been showing the prototype for our coffee table design at local shows and have received a great response. No one seems to have seen anything like it before, which is our reason for bringing it to the market.
It looks like the quality piece of hand-made furniture that it is, but nothing more. Close examination still doesn’t lead you to believe that this table has any secrets, but with a swift move, a hidden compartment pops out allowing fast access to a firearm or other items being stored.
The secret compartment was outfitted with a gun and magazine holster for demonstration purposes, but can be customized. One additional option is a pouch mounted to the inside of the compartment door, which would provide universal storage of firearms and valuables. The second version of this table is already in development and will include additional compartments.
We have had a great time watching visitors at the shows poke around the piece looking for the secret trigger, but so far, no one has found it on their own.

Thank you for your comment, Dave. I really appreciate the compliments. As far as offered finishes, I make these tables in any type of natural wood finish or I can stain to your liking. For example, a maple table could be stained with a cherry stain and then have a clear protective coating applied or I can use cherry hardwood and simply apply the clear coat. It’s all up to you. I’ll certainly give you a shout when the next piece is available. Thanks again!
Matt, my wife and I love the new coffee table. Wow, solid, well made! A beautiful piece of fine craftsmanship plus the comfort of knowing my revolver is close by in the family room while hidden away from my sons friends.
